Phase solitons in a weakly coupled three-component superconductor

چکیده

Based on the phenomenological Ginzburg-Landau approach, we investigate phase solitonic states in a class of three-component superconductors for mesoscopic doubly-connected geometry (thin-walled cylinder) external magnetic fields. Analysis Gibbs free energy system shows that superconductor are thermodynamically metastable and separated from ground state by sizable energy. Our results demonstrate despite presence zoo solitons earlier proposed method [Phys. Rev. B 96, 144513 (2017)] detection BTRS multiband remains valid useful.

Three-dimensional solitons in coupled atomic-molecular Bose-Einstein condensates

We present a theoretical analysis of three-dimensional (3D) matter-wave solitons and their stability properties in coupled atomic and molecular Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs). The soliton solutions to the meanfield equations are obtained in an approximate analytical form by means of a variational approach. We investigate soliton stability within the parameter space described by the atom-molec...

Non - equilibrium , time - dependent effective theory of a weakly coupled superconductor at finite temperature

Non-equilibrium, time-dependent effective theory of a weakly coupled superconductor at finite temperature. Abstract We perform a well defined derivative expansion to obtain the time dependent effective theory for a BCS superconductor at finite temperature, using an arbitrary curve in the complex time plane. Our expansion is unique, being free of any problems related to the order in which analyt...

Three-Dimensional Ordering in Weakly Coupled Antiferromagnetic Ladders and Chains

A theoretical description is presented for low-temperature magnetic-field induced threedimensional (3D) ordering transitions in strongly anisotropic quantum antiferromagnets, consisting of weakly coupled antiferromagnetic spin-1/2 chains and ladders. First, effective continuum field theories are derived for the one-dimensional subsystems. Then the Luttinger parameters, which determine the low-t...

Phase-diffusion dynamics in weakly coupled bose-einstein condensates.

We study the phase sensitivity of collisional phase diffusion between weakly coupled Bose-Einstein condensates, using a semiclassical picture of the two-mode Bose-Hubbard model. When weak coupling is allowed, zero relative phase locking is attained in the Josephson-Fock transition regime, whereas a pi relative phase is only locked in Rabi-Josephson point. Our analytic semiclassical estimates ag...

Optical excitation of Josephson plasma solitons in a cuprate superconductor.

Josephson plasma waves are linear electromagnetic modes that propagate along the planes of cuprate superconductors, sustained by interlayer tunnelling supercurrents. For strong electromagnetic fields, as the supercurrents approach the critical value, the electrodynamics become highly nonlinear. Josephson plasma solitons (JPSs) are breather excitations predicted in this regime, bound vortex-anti...
